Case Studies

Mark was a businessman from Indonesia, and his wife Angela was a schoolteacher.  They came to Canada to establish a new life for themselves, and raise their family here.

They looked at several businesses, and decided to purchase a Coffee franchise.  BEcause the business had been losing money, and survival was unclear, Mark was only able to get a 1 year Owner Operator LMIA Work Permit;  Angela was granted a 1 year “Open” Spousal Work Permit, and was able to work anywhere.

After about 8 months, the business was improving, and there were more employees. They were able to renew their LMIA for another 2 years, and in the meantime, they improved their English, and will be immigrating to Canada under Express Entry as Skilled Workers.
